Mortal Kombat 1 – Lin Kuei Story Trailer Unleashes Smoke, Rain, and Scorpion!

The Mortal Kombat Lin Kuei trailer showcased gameplay and cameos of Scorpion, Smoke, Rain, Cyrax, Frost, and Sektor. Previously, Scorpion was a member of the Shirai Ryu clan, but in the new Mortal Kombat universe, he now belongs to the Lin Kuei clan.

Some dialogues from Mortal Kombat 9 were also spoken in Mortal Kombat 12, such as Smoke saying, “Where there is smoke, there is fire.” This dialogue was originally spoken by Smoke in the Mortal Kombat 9 intro.

In Mortal Kombat 9, Noob Saibot says, “We may not share blood, but we are brothers,” while in Mortal Kombat 12, Scorpion says it to Smoke, albeit with some differences. The trailer also featured Smoke’s fatality and fatal move. We witnessed some new cameo appearances and fatal blows, as well as cut scenes in the story that showcased gameplay of Rain, albeit with some minor differences.
