4Gamer did a series of interviews with 149 different game developers, personalities and such recently, and one of the people interviewed was King of Fighters 14 producer Yasuyuki Oda.
You can read one of 4Gamer’s questions below, along with the first part of Oda’s answer, translated by me, Nicholas “MajinTenshinhan” Taylor.
4Gamer: Do you have any message for our readers, about your ambitions moving into 2017?
Yasuyuki Oda: We announced the 1.10 version of King of Fighters 14, but we’re working on a lot of other stuff, as well. First off is the ’98 Athena costume which should’ve been shown already by the time this article is published. We’ve got more to announce as well, so please look forward to that.
Continue below to see what Oda followed up with.
Yasuyuki Oda: Also, development is proceeding well on a non-KoF project as well! Actually, multiple projects! We’re working hard to make sure that we’ll have things to announce for you all in 2017. There’s also a huge update for the smartphone game Metal Slug Attack coming up.
There was a rumor going around almost a year ago about a new Samurai Shodown being in development, and SNK reiterated their wishes to work on the franchise in September.
What are you hoping to see from SNK in 2017? Let us know in the comments.
