Karachi, Pakistan – The local Fighting Game Community (FGC) is gearing up for an explosive showdown as TEKKEN 8: The King of the Hill Team Battle has been officially announced. This exclusive 3v3 Team Tournament is strictly dedicated to players based in Karachi, featuring a massive prize pool and intense competitive rules.

Official Tournament Rules & Match Format

Match Format:

FT7 Sets: First-to-7 (FT7) sets will be played for all winner and loser brackets.
Coin Distribution & Attendance: Each player will play 2 coins, and only one player will play 3 coins based on the captain’s decision.
- If one player is absent: The remaining player will play 5 coins only.
- If two players are absent: The team will be disqualified.
Character Lock (Winner): The winner stays with the same character until they lose a set.
Loser Counter-pick: The loser can change character + random stage, or just random stage.
Side Selection: Players must agree on side selection with mutual consensus; otherwise, a coin toss will decide.
Punctuality: Players must be ready within 10 minutes of call time.
Anti-Stacking Rule: To encourage all players to learn, support, and play with different teammates, players who have previously won a tournament together are not allowed to form a team with each other.

Timer: 60 Seconds
Stage: Always Random
Character Customizations: OFF

Match Disruption Rules:

Player Fault: If a disruption is caused by a player, they forfeit the round.
External Issues: If due to an external issue (crash, desync, etc.), the set is restarted with the same score except the crash round.
